Job Summary
Under the direction of imaging directors, the CT Tech performs various computerized axial tomography exams, ensuring patient care and comfort. Responsibilities include operating the CT scanner, assisting during invasive procedures, performing venipuncture, and maintaining high image quality. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with medical staff. A current California radiologic license, ARRT certification, BLS certification, and IV certification are mandatory, along with at least one year of experience in CT.
Required Qualifications
- Current California licensure in Radiologic Technology and Fluoroscopy
- ARRT (Radiology) certification or obtain within 6 months of hire (ARRT certification in C.T. preferred)
- Current BLS certification or obtain within the orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care
- IV certification or obtain within six (6) months of the hire date
- Minimum of one (1) year C.T. experience
