Job Summary
Perform complex computerized tomographic procedures according to established radiologist protocols while accurately positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters. Administer contrast media and medications safely, maintaining strict compliance with state regulations and professional scope of practice. Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor patient safety, document clinical findings in the EHR, and recommend protocol refinements. Maintain rigorous radiation safety standards and quality improvement guidelines to protect patients and staff during every diagnostic imaging procedure. Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as a CT Technologist by ensuring optimal clinical outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography
- CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification
