Job Summary
CT Tech position performing CT scanning procedures and quality control in the Imaging Department. Responsible for CT scans across age groups (neonatal to geriatric), ensuring patient comfort and safety, operating CT equipment, developing films, preparing the CT room, and assisting radiologists. Requires ARRT registration (CT registry preferred) and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical demands of a fast-paced environment. Shift: M-Th 7:30 PM–6:00 AM in Statesville, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- CT Registry preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity, hearing, stooping, reaching, and kneeling required
- Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers
