Job Summary
Supervise daily activities of assigned staff, coordinate staffing assignments and levels, and train, coach, and evaluate team members on performance expectations. Coordinate patient care with other team members to ensure effective delivery and desired outcomes. Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting. Create work schedules to ensure all diagnostic imaging areas are covered 24/7 and perform diagnostics when systems fail or performance degrades. Maintain adequate supply levels by performing quarterly audits of supply closets and adjusting stock as necessary. Work 6:30am to 3:00pm shifts at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience
- 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
