CT Specialist - Outpatient

Job Summary
Operate computerized tomography equipment to produce films for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, performing high-level CT functions including invasive procedures and CTA coronary studies. Maintain certification as a Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) with at least two years of experience, demonstrate basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, and perform intravenous catheter insertion. Provide tactful and pleasant interaction with patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel while maintaining current CPR certification. Work the 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM schedule at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
- At least 2 years' experience as a registered CT Technologist
- Basic knowledge of cross‐sectional anatomy
- Ability to insert intravenous catheter
- Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians and other personnel
- Certified in cardio‐pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
