Job Summary
Perform diagnostic radiographic, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, MRI, or special procedures per department protocols. Serve as the first line interface with customers to ensure successful imaging needs. Participate in PI/QC activities, maintain performance improvement programs, and supervise staff during absences. Manage department supplies, assist in annual evaluations and staff discipline, schedule assigned sub-departments, and process image transmission to PACS. Requires licensure, national certification in three modalities, current BCLS, and proficiency with computer systems.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Effective July 1, 2017 national certification in three modalities
- If functioning in a leadership role, national certification in 2 modalities and leadership experience
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- Current BCLS
- Proficient computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- One year of acute clinical radiography
