Job Summary
Perform plain films, fluoro, portables, and OR exams, including Bone Density imaging with a required registry. Position patients, select anatomic and technical parameters, and administer contrast media and medications within scope. Ensure radiation safety, submit high-quality images to PACS, and maintain a clean department. Work nights from 7p-7:30a on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and every other Monday. Requires ARRT-CT or equivalent credential and BLS certification. No experience needed; external candidates eligible for a $25,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- Must work at least 30% of FTE in secondary modality to be eligible for a Multiple Modality job
- Constant standing and walking
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more)
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication
- Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
- Frequent lifting/moving of patients
- Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
- Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors
- Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
- Rare kneeling and sitting
