CT/Radiology Technologist

Job Summary

Operate and maintain CT, X-Ray, CR reader, and PACS equipment while performing all imaging exams per established policies. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and administrative staff throughout the facility. Maintain required documentation, logs, charts, and records in both paper and electronic formats. Collect laboratory samples, perform testing under COLA and CLIA regulations, and ensure adequate reagent supplies. Conduct routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment. Perform quality control, proficiency testing, split sample analysis, and quality assessment activities as assigned. Assist with ER Technician duties as needed and travel to facility locations when required.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
  • Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
  • CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
  • 1+ years of CT experience
  • 1+ years of emergency room experience
  • Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
  • Fluency in English, written and oral communication
  • Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance), & Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Radiology
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
  • 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
  • 1+ years of CT experience
  • 1+ years of emergency room experience
