CT/Radiology Technologist

Job Summary
Operate and maintain CT, X-Ray, CR reader, and PACS equipment while performing imaging exams in accordance with facility policies. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and staff throughout the 16-bed facility. Perform basic clinical procedures, maintain documentation and logs, and collect laboratory samples following COLA and CLIA regulations. Conduct routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment. Perform quality control, proficiency testing, and split sample analysis as established by the laboratory. Assist in ER duties as needed and travel to all facility locations as required. Work nights (7P-7A) in a PRN capacity at Baylor Scott & White Hospital Willow Park.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication
- CT certification required (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Travel to all facility locations as required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiology
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
