CT/Radiology Technologist

Job Summary

Operate and maintain CT and X-Ray equipment, including CR readers and PACS systems, while performing all imaging exams in accordance with facility policies and regulations. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and administrative staff throughout the 20-bed facility. Perform routine daily, weekly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment, ensuring quality control and proficiency testing are completed as established. Collect laboratory samples, perform testing under CLIA regulations, and maintain accurate documentation in both paper and electronic formats. Assist with ER Technician duties as needed and travel to all facility locations when required.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
  • Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
  • Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
  • Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication
  • CT certification required (Las Vegas Market)
  • CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
  • Associate's degree in Radiology, preferred
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography, preferred, with the following exceptions
  • 1+ years of CT experience, preferred
  • 1+ years of emergency room experience, preferred
