CT/Radiology Technologist

Job Summary
Operate and maintain CT, X-Ray, CR reader, and PACS equipment while performing daily, weekly, and periodic maintenance checks. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, including collecting laboratory samples and performing testing in accordance with COLA and CLIA regulations. Perform all imaging exams, basic clinical procedures, and quality control activities such as proficiency testing and split sample analysis. Maintain required documentation, logs, charts, and records of analytic activities. Perform duties as an ER Technician as needed and travel to facility locations when required. Work a day shift (7A-7P) at WellSpan Neighborhood Hospital with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and 401K match.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- CT certification (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Fluency in English, written and oral communication
- Travel to all facility locations as required
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiology
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
