Job Summary
Operate and maintain CT and X-Ray equipment, perform imaging exams, and provide technical assistance to physicians and nurses throughout the facility. Collect laboratory samples, perform testing in accordance with CLIA regulations, and maintain all required documentation and logs. Conduct routine daily, weekly, and periodic maintenance checks, perform quality control and proficiency testing, and retain records for two years. Perform duties as an ER Technician as needed and travel to all facility locations. Requires CT certification within 12 months of hire and 2+ years of radiologic experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
- CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Fluency in English, written and oral communication
- Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance), & Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date (Pennsylvania Candidates)
