CT/Radiology Technologist

Job Summary

Operate and maintain CT, X-Ray, CR reader, and PACS equipment while performing all imaging exams in accordance with established policies. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and staff throughout the facility. Perform basic clinical procedures, collect laboratory samples, and conduct quality control and proficiency testing as required. Maintain all documentation, logs, charts, and records in paper and electronic formats. Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment. Assist as an ER Technician when needed and travel to facility locations as required. Work days from 7A-7P at Baylor Scott & White Hospital Willow Park.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
  • Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • CT certification (Las Vegas Market)
  • CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
  • 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
  • 1+ years of CT experience
  • 1+ years of emergency room experience
  • Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
  • Fluency in English, written and oral communication

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Radiology
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
