Job Summary

Responsible for operating CT imaging equipment under indirect supervision, ensuring patient care and safety during procedures. Demonstrates competency in CT positioning, communicates with patients, performs venipuncture, and assists with informed consent. Reviews imaging requests for appropriateness, prepares and maintains accurate records, and documents billing codes. Provides guidance to other personnel and collaborates with radiologists while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Registered or Registry eligible through the ARRT
  • ARRT CT registry required in accordance with Work Instruction EMP 8
  • Graduate of AMA, JRC or Regionally Accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology
