Job Summary
Radiologic Computed Tomography Technologist responsible for providing high-quality patient care during CT procedures and diagnostic imaging examinations under direct supervision. Performs routine and specialized CT and diagnostic exams following established protocols to minimize additional imaging and radiation dose, while maintaining exam productivity. Communicates with patients to ease anxiety, positions patients correctly, selects imaging parameters based on medical history, operates and maintains CT equipment with adherence to safety protocols, and documents scans in CHL and PACS, addressing discrepancies for smooth workflow. This full-time role (days, no weekends; on-call not required) at Cone Health MedCenter Asheboro requires compliance with established workflows, collaboration with physicians, and a commitment to accurate imaging and patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
- Licensure/Certification: BLS (CPR) - American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider; ARRT: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT) OR NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT) OR combinations (e.g., ARRT RT(N) and NMTCB(CT); OR NMTCB(CT) with ARRT(CT); OR ARRT RT(R) and NMTCB(CT); OR ARRT RT(T) and NMTCB(CT)
