Job Summary
Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures including CT and X-ray imaging on patients as ordered by physicians in compliance with hospital policy and New York State guidelines. Maintain current licensure with the NYS Department of Health and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with CT experience preferred or willingness to train. Demonstrate compassionate communication skills when interacting with apprehensive patients and families, while effectively coordinating with physicians and staff. Think and act quickly to deliver efficient quality care in stressful situations. This full-time position is located at Elizabethtown Community Hospital in upstate New York.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the NYS Department of Health
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current status
- Sufficient sensitivity and interpersonal skills in dealing with apprehensive patients and family in a professional and compassionate manner
- Positive and effective communicating skills for interaction with physicians and staff in any situation
- Ability to think and act quickly in order to deliver efficient quality care in a variety of stressful situations

- CT experience
- Licensed Radiology Technologist willing to train to become CT
