Job Summary
Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures including CT and X-ray imaging on patients as ordered by physicians, adhering to hospital policy and New York State guidelines. Maintain licensure with the NYS Department of Health and ARRT registration. Interact compassionately with apprehensive patients and families while communicating effectively with physicians and staff. Deliver efficient quality care in stressful situations. Full-time position in Elizabethtown, NY. CT experience preferred; licensed radiology technologists willing to train are considered.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the NYS Department of Health
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current status
- Sufficient sensitivity and interpersonal skills in dealing with apprehensive patients and family in a professional and compassionate manner
- Positive and effective communicating skills for interaction with physicians and staff in any situation
- Ability to think and act quickly in order to deliver efficient quality care in a variety of stressful situations
Desired Qualifications
- CT experience
- Licensed Radiology Technologist willing to train to become CT
