CT-MTSS Engineering Lead - Hybrid

Job Summary
Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers through regular one-on-ones, performance feedback, and mentorship while actively contributing to software design, development, code reviews, and production troubleshooting. Guide the modernization of ClearTrack and MTSS Edge products, maintaining stability for existing customers and driving architectural decisions around APIs, cloud technologies, and infrastructure. Improve engineering practices by enhancing CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and observability, and champion the adoption of AI-assisted development practices across planning, coding, and documentation. Partner with Product, UX, QA, and CloudOps teams to prioritize work and deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership and people management responsibilities
- Proven experience coaching engineers, leading teams, and delivering business-critical software applications
- Strong background in software architecture, legacy application modernization, and enterprise application development
- Experience developing RESTful APIs, web applications, relational databases, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience improving CI/CD pipelines, source control, deployment automation, and release management using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, Ant, or similar
- Experience with cloud-hosted applications, containerization, monitoring, observability, and production support
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices, OAuth 2.0, authentication, authorization, API security, and data protection
- Ability to learn and support Progress OpenEdge ABL
- Experience collaborating with Product, UX, QA, Support, CloudOps, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment
