CT Intensivist, SSUH (Bay Shore)

Experienced CT Intensivist sought for Cardiothoracic ICU at Northwell Health's South Shore University Hospital. Fellowship-trained and Board Certified in Critical Care or Thoracic Surgery required; primary board certifications may include Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or General Surgery. The CTICU is a 10-bed unit with an additional 4 Stepdown beds; the service line performs ~600 cardiac surgeries per year using open procedures, transcatheter therapies, ECMO, and LV support for high-risk PCI. The role offers an academic appointment with Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell; physicians are employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners. Competitive base compensation ranges from $125K to $750K, influenced by specialty, experience, academics, patient experience, and productivity.
