CT Intensivist, SSUH (Bay Shore)

Experienced Full-time Intensivist to join the Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) team at Northwell Health’s South Shore University Hospital. The ideal candidate is fellowship trained and Board Certified in Critical Care or Thoracic Surgery (primary certifications may include Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or General Surgery) with CTICU experience. The CTICU is a 10-bed unit with an additional 4 step-down beds; the service line performs a broad range of cardiac procedures including open surgeries, transcatheter therapies, ECMO, and LV support for high-risk PCI. Northwell offers an academic appointment with The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and a competitive base compensation package; physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners.
