Job Summary
Conduct quality CT, portable, C-Arm, X-Ray, DXA, and fluoroscopic imaging procedures while applying radiation protection principles and anatomy knowledge. Maintain patient records, navigate PACS, and administer contrast media via IV. Actively participate in departmental quality assurance and preventative maintenance. Provide patient education, ensure correct identification and safety protocols, and supervise radiologic technologist students. Perform front desk administrative duties as needed. Work a 7 on 7 off night rotation starting Wednesday through Tuesday night. Maintain CT competency and pursue continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- HS graduate or equivalent
- completed an accredited program in radiologic technology
- registered as a radiologic technologist through ARRT
- BLS
- Must be willing and able to take call
- Able to work well in situations of stress
- Practices professional interpersonal communication
- Must be willing to learn other imaging modalities as Manager and Medical Director see fit
- Able and willing to perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to assume responsibilities of the department in absence of Manager
