Job Summary
Perform CT, mammography, MRI, and ultrasound imaging exams while demonstrating competency on all departmental equipment. Maintain patient privacy, adhere to ALARA and infection control policies, and transport patients as needed. Collaborate with radiologists to coordinate care and ensure high-quality imaging within the requested timeframe. Scan and save all exam paperwork in the PACS, maintain accurate documentation, and assist with quality assurance and departmental reconciliation. Work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and call rotations as required by the 24/7/365 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registered technologist
- license by IEMA; Division of Nuclear Safety
- additional ARRT certification in Mammography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Quality Management, Bone Densitometry, Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, or Vascular Interventional Radiography
- ARDMS SPI Examination
- one corresponding specialty examination
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Maintains licensure current and up-to-date
- Proficient in the use of PACS
- Maintains exam paperwork
- Maintains paperwork in a current and correct manner
- Assures all exam paperwork is scanned and saved in PACS
- Understands and utilizes ALARA
- high degree of knowledge in MR and magnetic safety

- Understand HIPAA
