Job Summary
In this CT High School ELA Teacher role for New Haven, you’ll deliver engaging English language arts instruction to 9-12th graders, collaborate with coaches and school teams, use interim assessment data to drive instruction, develop unit/lesson plans with the grade-level team, and foster a positive, structured classroom culture. The role requires Connecticut certification (015 English, 4–12) or active pursuit of certification, a Bachelor's degree (GPA 3.0+; Master’s preferred), and experience with K-12 students (two years preferred). Compensation ranges from $50,600 to $86,989 and includes benefits; CT salaries are determined by experience and qualifications.
