Job Summary
Fellowship position in Radiology Clinical CT with a schedule of Fri-Sun 7a-7p in Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities include performing computerized imaging (CT), knowledge of equipment and monitors, assisting patients and physicians as needed. Requires BLS certification and specific FL DOH/ARRT licensure or NMTCB pathways with CT eligibility, plus either current radiography/CT/Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Therapy credentials or concurrent plans to obtain ARRT (CT) within 1 year. Preferred candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology and up to one year of CT/nuclear medicine imaging experience or post-secondary CT certification; strong troubleshooting and patient-support skills are needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred)
- Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) or equivalent
- License/Certification combinations for FL DOH radiography/CT/Nuclear Medicine/ Radiation Therapy pathways (as detailed)
- ARRT (R) Radiography; ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography; ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB; ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy (where applicable)
- Within 1 year of hire/transfer into position: obtain ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography
- Less than one year in computerized imaging or related field; or graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program
