CT Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary
Conduct computerized tomographic procedures for disease and injury diagnosis, performing at least three of the following: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations, or fiducial placement. Prepare and position patients while selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Administer contrast media and medications within scope, monitor protocols, and report abnormal patient activity. Adhere to radiation safety procedures and maintain constant alertness. Requires ARRT-CT or CT credential, BLS certification, and a Radiology Technology program. Includes an on-call rotation with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Computed Tomography (CT) Credential - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- There is an on-call requirement for this position
- Must perform at least 3 of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement
