Job Summary
Perform a variety of imaging exams for diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries, including plain films, fluoro, portables, and OR exams. Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately while implementing radiation protection and safety standards. Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special procedures, administering contrast media and medications within scope. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department including procedure rooms and storage areas. Work at least 30% of FTE in a secondary modality to be eligible for a Multiple Modality job.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology program
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- ARRT-R
- ARRT-CT within 12 months of hire date
- Completion of ARRT-CT within 12 months of hire date
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
