Job Summary
Lead and train direct reports through attitude, action, and superior communication while organizing work tasks to meet production goals. Ensure products meet designed quality specifications and achieve quality targets, maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Interface with Engineering to troubleshoot design challenges and support Manufacturing Engineering and Quality through process control activities and special testing. Provide constant feedback and conduct written and oral performance reviews for all assigned personnel. Meet production schedules within assigned budgets while managing multiple priorities. Requires strong electrical/mechanical background with at least 5 years of E/M manufacturing experience and supervisory skills.
Required Qualifications
- Strong electrical/mechanical background
- at least 5 years of E/M manufacturing experience
- Supervisory and/or Lead Person experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experienced in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Strong organizational and motivational skills
- Strong teamwork, communication and decision making skills
- Proven ability to effectively manage changing and multiple priorities
- Demonstrated interest and ability in developing a manufacturing team
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma, Associates Degree or trade school equivalent is a plus
