Job Summary
Conduct faculty additional employment assignments on grants or contracts provided by funding sources. Perform duties primarily indoors on the CSUDH campus, with potential travel or off-site work required by specific grant terms. Maintain status as a current California State University faculty member assigned to these projects. Adhere to mandated reporter requirements under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and complete satisfactory background checks for sensitive positions. Employment is at-will and subject to grant conditions, with pay determined by the specific funding source.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current California State University faculty member assigned to work on a grant or contract
- Must comply with the requirements set forth as a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act
- Must be able to perform essential functions including travel or off-site work as required by some grants/contracts
- Must furnish proof of legal authorization to work in the United States if hired
- Must complete a background check (including a criminal records check) satisfactorily
