CST - Surgical Technologist (36 Hours Weekly) - Day Shift

Job Summary

Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures while anticipating surgeon needs and maintaining sterile technique. Collaborate closely with RNs, anesthesia, and surgical providers to deliver technical interventions for patients across specialties including general, plastics, ortho, neuro, ENT, Urology, and OB/GYN. Support quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives while participating in ongoing education and skill development. Functions under RN supervision to maintain high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment. Requires certification as a surgical technologist, BCLS, and ability to work rotating day shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm with weekend and holiday call obligations.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  • Certification as a surgical technologist within one year of hire
  • Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) with the North Dakota Board of Nursing upon hire
  • AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire
  • Weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotations
  • Three 12-hour shifts weekly, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm
  • Functions under the supervision of an RN
  • Strong communication skills

  • Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic surgical environment
  • Legal right to work in the United States
  • Health screening and immunization review
  • Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
  • Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
