Job Summary
Configure, deploy, and optimize DTRA CSSP security toolsets to support analyst triage and alert investigations. Manage infrastructure updates, draft technical drawings, and document change proposals while integrating subscriber networks into the central SIEM via forwarders and APIs. Validate inbound log feeds against the Splunk Common Information Model and enforce DISA STIG compliance on Enterprise Security Linux systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to validate solutions and draft technical manuals and architectural diagrams. Requires Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification, and 2–5 years of cybersecurity systems engineering experience. Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must possess an active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE) AND CSSP Infrastructure Support or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of progressive work experience in cybersecurity systems engineering, systems administration, or defensive infrastructure support
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated experience implementing cybersecurity engineering principles to meet Federal framework goals
- Ability to provide high-level technical drawings, validate complex technical solutions, and map business, system, and data flows
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
