CSS Technician

The Central Sterile Services Technician will decontaminate, clean, assemble, wrap, and containerize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment and ensure proper sterilization/sanitation (steam, gas, plasma, or other methods). They will test and report issues with sterilization equipment, and prepare and deliver instruments and carts for surgeries and medical procedures across two areas: Decontamination and Processing. The role requires following written, oral, or electronic instructions, with strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds, frequent standing and mobility, and exposure to chemicals, infectious diseases, and environmental factors. This position is a Regular-PRN, Weekend - First Shift role at Baptist Medical Center South in Alabama, within Baptist Health.”,
