Job Summary
General Warehouse Labor responsibilities include processing, packing, and shipping orders; moving materials off trucks and onto pallets; labeling boxes or pallets; wrapping pallets; putting away products in designated locations; identifying and communicating damages or surplus; using RF equipment to track product; lifting up to 40 lbs; and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment while following quality service standards and procedures. Required strengths include familiarity with pallet jacks and forklift operation, solid inventory skills, and ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers in a warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with the use of pallet jacks and other necessary warehouse equipment
- Ability to operate a forklift skillfully and safely
- Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
- Solid communication skills and inventory skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs
