Job Summary
Conduct daily janitorial duties, operate motorized cleaning equipment, and maintain assigned area cleanliness. Provide work direction to custodians, assist with staff scheduling and training, and manage equipment and supply inventory. Perform quality, service, and safety inspections while reporting incidents, hazardous conditions, and personnel issues to the supervisor. Correct at-risk behavior immediately and recommend improvements. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a salary of $20–$21.00.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years related experience
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- Forklift certification
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
