Job Summary
Create, coordinate, and oversee all maintenance requests for assigned properties, ensuring timely completion while highlighting preventative measures. Follow up with vendors to verify repairs meet company standards and budgets, and provide timelines for rehabs or remodeling projects. Maintain records of income, expenses, leases, and complaints; investigate tenant issues, enforce occupancy rules, and inspect vacant units. Collect rent, manage delinquencies, and handle operating expenses. Attend owner meetings to provide updates and build relationships that increase satisfaction. This remote position requires US business hours (EST) and offers performance-based incentives, PTO, parental leave, and comprehensive training.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding and knowledge of construction rules and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Negotiating and Listening skills
- Exceptional ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage timelines appropriately
- Outstanding time management and problem solving skills
- Strong familiarity and working knowledge of affordable housing laws and anti-discrimination legislation
- Understanding property management and its financial aspect
- Competence with MS Office Suite and Property Management software and tools especially AppFolio and LeadSimple
- Strong decision making skills and sound judgment
- Team player and ability to take on new initiatives
- Experience with property management software
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Working in the US business hours (EST)
