Job Summary
CSPD tech Nights at Tempe Medical Center: Responsible for decontamination, preparation and sterilization of instrumentation and equipment; assemble, prep and pack instrumentation; inspect cleanliness and function; manage case carts and sterile storage; document all sterilization processes and support perioperative team; may serve as a preceptor. Requires high school diploma or GED and sterile processing/technical training; CSPDT/CRCST certifications preferred; >10 months CSPD experience preferred; 1 year experience required; CST/CSPDT certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical Training Diploma/Degree Surgical technical training or Sterile Process training
- Preferred: Completion of a sterile processing training program or certification as CRCST or CSPDT
