CSOC Analyst

Job Summary

Monitor global events, threats, and risks using intelligence platforms, news sources, and internal systems. Analyze security incidents in real time, escalate critical issues to leadership, and provide timely alerts, reports, and situational updates to stakeholders. Support incident response and crisis management activities while maintaining accurate logs and conducting ongoing threat assessments and trend analysis. Collaborate with internal security, safety, and business continuity teams to ensure coordinated responses, assist in testing CSOC systems, and participate in after-action reviews. Operate effectively in a 24/7 environment including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • 1-2 Years of relevant experience in emergency management, corporate security, infrastructure monitoring, or crisis management
  • Ability to assess information, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly understand and assess evolving global events and their potential impact
  • Sound judgment in escalating incidents and recommending appropriate responses
  • Skilled in intelligence platforms, monitoring tools, and Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Effective in working with cross-functional teams, including security, Risk, and business continuity
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment with shifting priorities
  • Ensures accuracy and thoroughness in documentation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure or during crisis situations

  • Operate effectively in a 24/7 environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Participate in projects, training exercises, and security drills as assigned
  • Assist in testing CSOC systems, tools, and procedures and suggest any opportunities for improvement
  • Provide backup support for other GSOC team members during absences or high-volume periods
  • Participate in after-action reviews and lessons learned documentation
  • A background check will be conducted for this position

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, crisis management or related field
  • Prior work in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) or Cyber/Corporate Security Operations Center (CSOC)
