Job Summary
Assist clients with disabilities and seniors in their homes with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and socialization. Support individuals by accompanying them to appointments, grocery stores, and community events while encouraging an active lifestyle through walks and hobbies. Ensure clients remain mentally stimulated, socially connected, physically active, and well-nourished to foster their independence. This role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and weekend/evening availability. As a non-profit dedicated to helping people with disabilities live independently, your work directly improves their quality of life within a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Negative TB skin test (provided by Aptiv)
- Ability to pass a caregiver background test
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Reliable transportation with valid registration and up-to-date auto insurance
- Weekend and evening availability
