CSFP Program Manager

Job Summary

Plan, direct, and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly activities for one-third of CSFP distribution sites while monitoring food box distributions against quarterly and yearly goals. Manage and support Eligibility Technicians through scheduling, field work, client certification, telephone coverage, and data entry. Lead the selection, training, and performance evaluation of direct staff, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and program regulations. Reconcile daily food box distributions, calculate usage, and prepare monthly inventory reports. Monitor budget utilization, produce administrative reports, and collaborate on staff calendars. Research potential distribution sites and represent the organization with community partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Driving record that meets minimum standards established by CAP OC insurance carrier
  • Proof of vehicle insurance
  • Access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to drive/travel when required
  • Possessing a BA/BS degree or at least 5 years direct experience
  • Management experience with staff larger than 2 direct reports
  • Possessing strong interpersonal and customer service skills with staff, volunteers, and participants
  • Effective leadership skills

  • Communication proficiency with all levels of staff, management, participants and partners
  • Problem solving/analysis in order to resolve short-term problems and possible looming problems

  • Possessing a valid California Driver's License with a driving record that meets minimum standards established by CAP OC insurance carrier, proof of vehicle insurance, access to a vehicle and willingness to drive/travel when required
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions as required
  • Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to forty (40) pounds
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical
  • Must pass a drug screen
  • Must pass a Live Scan
  • Must pass a background check

Desired Qualifications

  • It is desirable that the selected CSFP Manager candidate be bi-lingual in Spanish or Vietnamese
  • Communication proficiency desired in English/Vietnamese or English/Spanish
  • Desirable ability in Spanish or Vietnamese
  • BA/BS degree desired
