Job Summary
Conduct Bundling, Cutting, Spreading, Wrapping, and Staging Pallets; load Gen III Shipments; and manage Shipping and Receiving for Bowling orders. Perform preventive maintenance on Cutting department equipment, including changing blades and resetting software parameters. Operate a forklift to unload Fabric Shipments and other cargo, adhering to Agency and OSHA safety regulations. Maintain a safe work environment while lifting up to 50 pounds independently or 100 pounds with assistance. Follow supervisor instructions and attend to all other duties deemed necessary. Maintain a flexible schedule to meet department demands, including overtime and alternating break times.
Required Qualifications
- Possess ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department, i.e. overtime, alternating lunch and break schedules when needed.
- Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to listen to what is said and act upon it appropriately.
- Ability to use tact and empathy in dealing with people of varied backgrounds.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment and plan and organize workload.
- Accepts responsibility and demonstrates leadership.
- Is able to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Trustworthy- Able to keep business confidences as required.
- Open minded- Willing to embrace change.
- Must be trained and certified on forklift.
- Maybe required to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and if required lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Additional hours if needed are mandatory.
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft office products preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
