Job Summary
Deliver and support implementation of CSEC and labor trafficking trainings, including new curricula and materials for diverse audiences ranging from caregivers to law enforcement. Exercise cultural responsiveness by engaging community members in training programs while providing feedback on curriculum and processes. Promote related educational events and assist in developing training content aligned with organizational goals. Manage multiple tasks concurrently and adjust to seasonal workload changes while maintaining boundaries for sustainable engagement. Requires a clean DMV record, ability to travel, and experience supporting vulnerable youth in professional settings.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting vulnerable youth in professional settings
- Demonstrated experience working with and/or understanding the needs of sexually exploited, high-risk and transition-age youth in foster care or probation
- Experience developing and delivering trainings or presentations
- Clean CA DMV record
- Current car insurance
- Ability to travel
- Comfort presenting to large groups
- Receiving evaluations on performance
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral presentation skills
- Excellent organizational, analytic, and leadership skills
- Can manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Adjust to seasonal changes in workload
- Experience working with diverse communities
- Ability to promote and respect diversity including ethnic, cultural, linguistic, sexual orientation and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Understanding of child welfare and juvenile justice systems
- Able to work effectively with others at all levels of an organization
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office suite
- Aware of the impact of their life experiences (including potentially traumatic experiences)
- Have established self-care routines
- Prepared to sustainably engage in training
- Setting boundaries when needed
