Job Summary

Lead a cross-building CSD Help Desk team to coordinate activities, allocate resources, and ensure timely support for USSPACECOM IT systems. Oversee troubleshooting of military desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals across SIPR, NIPR, and JWICS networks; manage tickets, track metrics, and liaise with capability owners and the Executive Communications Administrator Lead. Develop and refine SOPs and IT process documentation for classified systems, and ensure proper hardware lifecycle management and DoD disposal compliance. Requires a BS degree in a related field, demonstrated leadership of a ~10-person technical team, and TS/SCI with SAP clearance; certifications in Security+ are required with preferred certifications (Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP). The role supports contingency operations and maintains robust customer service focus across a high-performance team.

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Lead/management experience for small technical teams (approx. 10 staff)
  • Experience with unclassified and classified DoD network environments (Secret, TS-SCI)
  • Experience providing Tier 3 and 4 service desk functions
  • Knowledge of endpoint management, imaging, deployment workflows
  • Clearance: TS/SCI and SAP required
