Job Summary
The CSCD Technician is responsible for coordinating and performing administrative tasks, including securing and maintaining urine samples for male adult probation clients. Responsibilities also include documenting daily work in a database, providing clerical support to front desk operations, and assisting community supervision officers with various tasks. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with additional college credits or relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited high school or GED program
- 60 college hours from an accredited college or university (external candidate)
- 40 college hours from an accredited college or university (internal candidate)
- Four (4) years of experience as a Dallas County CSCD clerk may substitute for college hours
- Must pass an extensive background check
