Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive client assessments, administer medications, and perform triage for complex and routine treatments. Coordinate nursing processes, audit medical records for accuracy, and manage client case plans including referrals, transportation, and discharge summaries. Assist medical supervisors with staff training, enforce policies, and lead educational seminars on health and infection control. Maintain confidentiality, ensure compliance with federal laws, and participate in performance improvement activities. Requires Bachelor's degree in Nursing, current licensure, and at least one year of psychiatric or substance abuse experience. Full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current professional licensure as a Registered Nurse as required by the state
- two to four years of progressively responsible nursing experience
- at least one year experience in psychiatric and/or substance abuse field
- Advanced knowledge of theories, principles and concepts of nursing
- Knowledge of Joint Commission requirements and standards
- High level of problem solving and analytical abilities
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge of the principles of physical growth and development and psychosocial development
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to resolve frequently complex issues
- Computer literacy
- Normal or corrected vision and some color vision
- Ability to respond to telephone, pages and intercoms
