Job Summary
Perform supervision officer work involving monitoring adult probationers and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Responsibilities include conducting home and employment visits, auditing case files, maintaining confidential records, and collaborating with staff and community resources. The role demands critical decision-making during emergencies, effective communication, and the ability to document work accurately. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree, a valid Texas Driver’s License, and the ability to handle stressful situations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Ability to assist in the supervision of adult probationers
- Ability to input and retrieve data using designated systems
- Ability to create and document clear case narratives and reports
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of community supervision laws
- Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong observation, perception, and judgment skills
- Effective time management, problem solving, and listening skills
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
