CSBB Senior Business Data Steward - Data Asset Risk

Job Summary
Coordinate the inventory and ongoing maintenance of CSBB data assets, including models, EUC tools, and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of required attributes. Partner with data asset owners to confirm ownership, usage, criticality, and control expectations while monitoring risk ratings and remediation of identified data asset risks on an ongoing basis. Coordinate data asset risk reporting for governance forums, working groups, and risk committees, providing status updates on inventory changes and open items. Maintain data asset records within applicable inventory and governance systems of record. This senior role focuses on the ongoing management of risk associated with data assets in alignment with enterprise data governance policy.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in data governance, data risk management, or a risk/control environment
- Understanding of data assets such as models, EUC tools, and reports, and the risks associated with their development, use, and maintenance
- English (Required)
- 1st shift (United States of America)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk, data, analytics, or related field
- Experience maintaining inventories and coordinating risk information within governance or risk systems
- Experience preparing status reporting on risk, open items, and remediation progress
- Knowledge of data governance concepts including data quality, lineage, critical data elements, and critical business processes
- Experience maintaining or governing asset inventories
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to provide clear, defensible rationale for risk classifications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across business, risk, finance, and technology stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate work across teams and stakeholders
