Job Summary
Manage commercial delivery of major CSA capital work packages from procurement through final account, supporting GMP development, FIDIC contract administration, and change control. Prepare valuations, payment recommendations, and cost reports while analyzing data to identify trends and support executive decision-making. Collaborate with site-based leadership, general contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to mitigate risks and oversee enabling works including civils, structures, and steel. Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to service improvement within the Cost & Commercial Management team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline
- Relevant professional qualification or chartered status
- CSCS card
- Experience in a cost and commercial management role on major capital projects
- Strong post-contract experience, ideally including: GMP procurement and commercial negotiation
- Strong post-contract experience, ideally including: FIDIC contract administration
- Strong post-contract experience, ideally including: Change management
- Strong post-contract experience, ideally including: Valuations and payment processes
- Strong post-contract experience, ideally including: Forecasting and reporting
- Strong post-contract experience, ideally including: Final account settlement
- Experience managing or supporting CSA-related packages
- Ability to analyse commercial information and provide practical recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working alongside contractors, consultants and clients
- Confidence working in a site-based project environment
- Experience supporting, coaching or mentoring more junior team members
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
