Job Summary
CS Support Coordinator (3rd Shift) serves as the first line of defense, ensuring carriers have complete transit information and maintaining timely and orderly communication with shippers/receivers. Responsibilities include following the EASE Customer Journey, providing transportation quotes based on market rates, updating Account Managers and customers on developments, maintaining customer portals with accurate updates, communicating professionally with customers and carriers, building carrier relationships, tracking shipments to ensure customer satisfaction, negotiating rates, processing carrier paperwork for billing, booking loads via inbound/outbound calls and email, routing drivers to ensure on-time pickups/deliveries, and supporting the operations team to deliver excellent customer service. The role requires multitasking, problem solving, adaptability to changing workloads, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on clear written and verbal communication and a customer-service mindset.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Bachelor’s degree is acceptable as alternative in lieu of the requirement? (translation of sources may vary)
- Experience: 0 years with Bachelor’s degree or 1 year with Associate’s degree or 3 years related experience in lieu of a degree
- Transportation industry experience is a plus
- Sales, customer service, and/or negotiation-related talents
- Excellent communicator with a great phone presence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and adaptability to fast-paced environments
