Job Summary
Field Service Engineer 2 responsible for installations, qualification, repair and maintenance of ASML lithography systems at customer sites. Performs regular and irregular maintenance with considerable independence under limited supervision, handling defined problems and repairs both independently and through escalation. Responsibilities include problem analysis and approach, information gathering, handovers to second-line support with proper documentation, executing repairs with appropriate tools and parts, coordinating parts/tools based on customer machine time windows, training users in operation and maintenance, and identifying improvement opportunities. Must maintain and broaden own knowledge, share best practices, and provide coaching to less experienced engineers. Role requires access to controlled technology under export regulations and eligibility to access such technology.
Required Qualifications
- BSc degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience in technical industry or semiconductor industry preferred
- Experience using computer applications including data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software
- Knowledge of product functionality of main modules/sub-modules
