CS Aide

Position supports Mercy's patient-centered care by pre-cleaning, cleaning, assembling, packaging and reprocessing of reusable medical devices. Responsibilities include transporting, cleaning, packaging, and reprocessing instruments (e.g., scopes, surgical instruments, probes, containers); understanding reprocessing concepts; assisting with wrap methods and packaging; attending staff meetings and in-services; and providing coverage across Mercy sites as required. Must read/write/speak English fluently, perform simple math, be a team player with excellent customer service, and ideally have professional healthcare experience; medical background preferred.
