Crystal Process Engineering Technician

Job Summary
Conduct crystal product testing for filter, discrete, monolithic, and round blank crystals while repairing process equipment to ensure uptime. Perform preventative maintenance on vacuum systems, pumps, and compressors, and execute screening processes for G-sensitivity, phase noise, vibration, and thermal shock. Create and update production documentation, collect data for statistical process evaluation, and maintain ITAR data compliance. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand tools, and experience with vacuum systems. Candidates typically hold an engineering technology or related degree with 1-3 years of technical experience in crystal manufacturing or semiconductor processing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license
- Must have background and experience with vacuum systems
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or technical certification in Engineering technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical field is preferred
- 1-3 years of technical experience is desired
- Hands-on experience in crystal manufacturing, semiconductor processing, or precision equipment operation is highly preferred
- Understanding of vacuum pumps, compressors, and related system preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cohesivity in a team environment
- Experiences performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and process data collection
